We’re proud to highlight our Partner, the Family Peace Center, and the grand opening of a truly groundbreaking space. Laurie was there alongside hundreds of community members, leaders, and partners to celebrate this moment.

This center is the first of its kind in the nation. Under one roof, survivors can access medical care, law enforcement support, housing resources, mental health services, basic needs assistance, and even a therapeutic preschool for children.

Everything in one place.

That matters.

Because when someone experiences violence or trauma, navigating multiple systems can be overwhelming. The Family Peace Center removes those barriers by bringing coordinated, compassionate care together in a single location. It is a model built on collaboration, designed to meet survivors where they are and walk with them every step of the way.
