Last week, our Executive Director, Laurie, had the opportunity to visit one of our Partners, the RIDE Foundation, and see their impact firsthand.

The RIDE Foundation uses equine-assisted programs to help individuals navigate trauma, build confidence, and develop critical life skills. Through their Horses That Heal program, participants learn emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, communication, and leadership by working alongside horses in a safe and supportive environment.

Their programs serve a wide range of people, including students, foster youth, veterans, and trauma survivors. For many participants, these experiences provide a pathway toward renewed hope.

During her visit, Laurie spent time learning more about the lives being changed through their work, the impact they’re already making across their communities, and the vision they’ve for expanding that impact even further.

This is one of our favorite parts of what we do. Seeing the mission in action. Meeting the people behind the work. And witnessing how our Partners work every day.

Together, we continue to honor victims and support families through Partners who are creating lasting change.
