We’re proud to share that the MrBallen Foundation has recently welcomed six new Partner organizations into our network. Each one is doing powerful, life-changing work to support victims and families impacted by heinous crime. This growth reflects deeper reach, stronger collaboration, and a continued commitment to showing up where it matters most.

Through these Partnerships, we’re not only providing funding, but building connections across organizations that share a common mission. We hope this serves as an opportunity for you to learn from one another, connect, and continue strengthening this incredible network!

  1. Gabby Petito Foundation
The Gabby Petito Foundation works to honor Gabby’s life by supporting efforts to locate missing persons and address domestic violence. Through advocacy, education, and resources for families, they are driving awareness and prevention. A $25,000 Honor Grant is helping expand their reach and impact.

  2. Fear 2 Freedom
Fear 2 Freedom restores dignity to survivors of sexual assault while empowering communities to take action. Their AfterCare and iCare Kits provide comfort and essential items to survivors in crisis, reaching tens of thousands across the country. This partnership also creates opportunities for hands-on involvement through kit-building experiences at upcoming events (like the MrBallen Tour coming up).

At the EVAWI conference earlier this month, we had the opportunity to connect with organizations doing powerful, life-changing work for survivors. With 1,762 attendees representing all 50 states, 4 U.S. territories, and 8 countries, this was a global gathering of people committed to doing this work better. Many of you were also there, making it even more meaningful to spend time together in one place. A true reflection of the strength and reach of this network. During our time there, we awarded the following new grants:

  1. Nevada Institute of Forensic Nursing (NVIFN)
NVIFN provides trauma-informed, evidence-based care to victims of violence, abuse, and sexual assault. As Nevada’s first fully mobile Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner unit, they meet survivors wherever they are, delivering care, advocacy, and forensic services directly to those who might otherwise go without it. Supported by a $20,000 Honor Grant, their work is expanding access to care, especially in rural and underserved communities.

  2. WHEAT (Women Healing Eternally and Transforming)
WHEAT provides trauma-informed support to survivors navigating crisis and rebuilding their lives. As a survivor-led organization, they serve culturally diverse communities across Metro Detroit with care rooted in lived experience. A $5,000 Honor Grant is helping strengthen their ability to walk alongside survivors with dignity, cultural awareness, and long-term support.

  3. Project Hope of Gunnison Valley
Project Hope offers critical services to individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Through a 24/7 crisis line, shelter, advocacy, and legal support, they provide immediate and ongoing care. A $5,000 Honor Grant is helping ensure survivors can access free, confidential support during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

  4. AVAIL INC
AVAIL serves children, teens, and families impacted by abuse and trauma, creating safe spaces for healing and recovery. Their work focuses on restoring a sense of safety and belonging, especially for children who need it most. With support from a $5,000 Honor Grant, they are continuing to create environments where healing can begin.
