The MrBallen Foundation Hope Grant program is intended to provide expedited assistance directly to victims and families of victims of heinous and violent crimes. This grant is meant to be responsive to the immediate and emergency needs of those impacted by a heinous crime in the last 12-18 months.
Examples of such crimes include rape, genocide, homicide, violent crimes against children, sex trafficking, arson, or robbery resulting in death. This grant is intended to be a one-time assistance grant.
Due to the high volume of requests, we are only accepting referrals from our partner organizations or other victim advocacy professionals at this time.
The MrBallen Foundation Honor Grant Program provides financial grants to 501c3 organizations that support victims or families of victims who have been affected by a heinous crime.
These grants are awarded quarterly up to the amount of $25,000*.
The Honor grants can be used for a wide range of projects or programs. To qualify, your organization must provide services to victims and/or victims’ families of heinous, egregious, and/or accidental death or dismemberment. To apply, please fill out our Honor grant inquiry form in its entirety, attaching your IRS determination letter and a budget summary for the project you are requesting funds for.
*We will occasionally consider larger grant awards.
